where? Bad Monkey Bikes, Boards and Skate.. downtown vancouver.. Broadway and Mclaughlin..
when? very soon.. will keep you posted..
then will start a new blog site with ride info..

What a Surprise.. ;} sunshine.. and "Woody's" fine tacos..

friday turned out to have a ray of sunshine in it.. very nice way to end the week.. so we had a chance to get a little cruzin' in.. made a stop at Woody's Tacos.. really good food and one of the best Margarita's around.. great service with Jon behind the counter.. check this place out and support the local shop.. need to keep Woody's as a stop on the cruze..

if you should here about 1/2 lights.. that is traffic lights in only 1 direction.. such as only east/west traffic.. "support them".. safe way to cross bizzeee main streets.. look up Vancouver BC.. i hear they are the kings of this concept.. coming to our town soon.. i hope.. thanks Ted and Morgan for the insight..

side note as per new bike buddies Ted and Morgan..
easy cookie receipe.. (not mine)
1 box cake mix.. 2 eggs.. 1/2 cup cooking oil(i use canola).. mix well.. and add if you wish, a 1/2 cup of nuts, choco chips or ?? bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.. and then enjoy..

where did the sun go??

i guess it "is" still april.. but did get to enjoy the warth yesterday evening.. nice to get out and ride a little.. rode down to the creek.. that is the "Columbia River".. lots of peeps out walking and riding.. stopped by one of our favorite beer pubs.. McMemamins.. caught up to some friends and enjoyed a cold beverage then a nice ride home.. those sucker days can get to a person.. lets hope that the sun stars to show itself on a more regular basis.. life is good.. ride your bike..

THE SUN IS COMING..........

finally.. more than just a sun break.. so dust off the bikes and enjoy the weekend..maybe that funny white stuff will be just a memory of winter past..

Fat Tire Cruiser Bike Riders.. or..

ok folks.. we know spring is coming (or should i say summer) to the great "north-wet".. so lets get together.. go for some great vancouver/portland cruzzzin.. you know the kind.. meet up some place like, (bad monkey bikes) and head for the closest place with a great local brew like, (salmon creek) and then off to the next spot to spread a little local cheer..
keep the money local.. what do ya say?? sound like a plan??
so who wants to be the leader??? leader? who needs a stinkin leader?? how about a hat and pick a biz card of the next spot to cruze to??

Spring is coming??????

or, is it here already? maybe by the calendar but not by the weather.. the trees are teasing us with their blooms so you know that spring is in the air.. have not been on my bike(s) in a while and it is making me grumpy.. dang.. where is the sun?? i know, i know.. behind the clouds..
but i have had time to get the fleet polished up.. lights working.. air in the tires and ready for a good pub crawl.. or across the bridge to Portland..
might be sunny (or a sun break or two) (now if you do not live where you have sun breaks it can be a wonderful thing) this weekend but, off to seattle.. by train that is.. thanks for listening.. enjoy what and where you are..
